The colorful weekends : more than $ 3,500 donated to Opération Enfant Soleil!

From September 29th to October 14th, Laurier Québec teamed up with Opération Enfant Soleil to put together The colorful weekends. Throughout these three busy weekends, a giant mural was installed on the ground in the central court so children and adults could color in exchange for donations for the cause. Every weekend, different activities were organized to please the little ones.

September 29th and 30th, from 10am to 2pm:
A meet-and-greet was organized so families could take pictures with the PJMasks.

6th and 7th of October, from 10am to 2pm:
Every day, the first 50 families to donate received a family pass for the Aquarium of Quebec. Several mascots were present to take pictures with the children: Doctor Toudoux from Opération Enfant Soleil, Alpi from Le Relais Ski Center and Paq fromt the Aquarium of Quebec.

October 13th and 14th, from 10am to 2pm:
Chase and Marcus, two famous members of the PAW Patrol, were available on a rotational basis to take pictures with the families.

Thanks to the generosity of its clientele, Laurier Québec was able to raise more than $ 3,500 for Opération Enfant Soleil during The colorful weekends.

As is the tradition, Laurier Québec also invited the kids' heroes to visit the Centre Mère-Enfant at the CHUL Hospital. Chase and Marcus crossed Laurier Boulevard to spend quality time with sick children and their families. The centre's proximity to the hospital and the generosity of Laurier Québec's partners always create magical moments for children who are unable to participate in events at the mall.

Over the past 17 years, Laurier donated nearly $ 400,000 to Opération Enfant Soleil through various activities, including several golf tournaments. This amazing organization provides pediatric hospitals with funds to help them give pioneering care to sick children in terms of physical, mental and social health.

The colorful weekends were definitely successful. This initiative really made it possible to put a smile on the face of many children!
